I. Number of Exchange Students
Two (2) exchangestudents for each academic year.
II. Selection ofParticipants
Participation inthe Student Exchange Program (hereinafter refer to Program) is limited to thosestudents:
a) Undergraduatestudents in their third year or higher;
b) Graduatestudents.
III.Qualifications
1. All candidatesfor the Student Exchange Program to Leiden University must be enrolled in their thirdbachelor year or higher of law studies at CUPL and will be in good academicstanding.
2. If takingcourses with English language requirements, all candidates must have suitablelevels of language ability for the study of such subjects at Leiden University.
a) The minimumscores for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) should be 90 for theinternet-based test.
b) The minimumscore for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) should be 6.5.
IV. Application
The Semester 2 (academic period from Jan to June),so the candidates who wish to participate in the Program must submit all theapplication documents to the Faculty of International Law, CUPL before 9, October2017.
Please note: The applicants could downloadthe application form from the website. Once your application is complete pleaseforward it along with official certified copies of your academic transcriptsincluding translations as well as English language proficiency (certifiedcopies of the original test) to us. References could be submitted otherwise ifneeded. Make sure you have included all required documents before sending yourapplication to the Faculty of International Law, CUPL so that we can processthe applications promptly.
V. Fees andExpenses
1. No tuition feeswill be charged by Leiden University. The exchange students shall be responsible for meeting thefollowing costs and expenses at LeidenUniversity.
a) Accommodationsand meals;
b) International travel between two institutes;
c) Healthinsurance or services;
d) Books and programmaterials;
e) Equipment andconsumables;
f) Passport andvisa costs; and
g) Otherincidental expenses arising out of the exchange.
2. ExchangeStudents will be required to provide evidence that they possess sufficientfunds to cover the reasonable costs and other personal expenses during theirstay at Leiden University.
